Delete my account
You can delete your account yourself, from the app, without writing to anyone.
From the app
- Open the Me tab, then Settings.
- In the Account section, tap "Delete my account".
- Confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately: you are signed out and your profile disappears from the feed and search. Your upcoming slots are cancelled and their participants notified; your sign-ups to other people's slots are removed; your programs are archived.
Without access to the app
Write to us from your account's email address, with "Account deletion" as the subject. We check that it really is you, then close the account: confidentialite@meetdo.fun
How long it takes
Closure is immediate. Your data is then permanently erased after thirty days — this grace period protects against accidental deletion. Backups are overwritten no later than ninety days after deletion; until then, they are inaccessible.
What is erased
Your profile, your photo, your sign-ups, your slots, your alerts, your watches. A conversation disappears on your side; the copy held by the other person is their own data.
What is kept, and why
Only what the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires. None of it is used to contact you again.
