Someone watches over you. Nobody follows you.

Before you leave, you choose a contact and a time to be back. If all goes well, nobody is told anything. If not, one last reminder, then your contact gets a message — and a second contact fifteen minutes later.

You close the watch with a five-character code: no location is ever sent. And if you have nobody to tell, the watch still works.

"I'm here", then the host confirms.

Everyone declares their arrival, the host validates it — or you simply bring your phone close to theirs. The Bluetooth signal is anonymous, changes every 30 seconds and contains neither a name nor a location. If the host does not turn up, you can report it — it counts, and it shows.

Everything that can see you, on one screen.

One page lists every channel through which someone could observe you — even the ones switched off — and a button at the bottom cuts them all at once. Nothing in meetDo can see you without appearing there.

"Public web pages": this site shows slots to inspire people — the activity, the next date, an area of about 500 m around a public place. Never your name, never an address, never "every Tuesday". One tap turns it off.

Never a place and a routine together

A private place only shows its address to people who have joined. Until you have, you see the neighbourhood, not the door.

Text leaving meetDo cannot say both where you are and that you are there every Tuesday: that would be a pattern of life. The product refuses to compose that sentence, even when you ask it to.
