Basketball

The court is free. What is missing is four people, not a court.

What it looks like, together

A playground, a few shots to warm up, then two-on-two or three-on-three. The hoop is public; what was missing was the other players.

How it works

How it works, in practice.

  1. Someone posts

A slot: Basketball, a time, a place, a number of spots.

  2. It shows up around you

On the map and in the feed of people who like basketball.

  3. You join

With one tap. The exact address appears, the host is notified.

  4. Nothing nearby?

Post your own, or set an alert: you will be told as soon as someone starts.

RunningAlone, you run one week in three. With someone waiting, you go. CyclingAn 80 km ride gets decided the night before, with someone — not alone at dawn. SwimmingLanes are shared anyway. Better to know with whom, and when. HikingA full day on the trail is safer, and shorter, with company. TennisA booked court with no partner is a cancelled court. PadelYou need four. That is precisely the problem meetDo solves. FootballTen messages in a group chat for one game. Or one slot, published once. GymA gym partner is one more session a week. With no extra willpower. YogaA first class is intimidating. Far less so if you walk in with someone. SophrologyBreathe, settle, let go: alone you put it off, with others you turn up on time. ClimbingOn lead you need a belayer. The partner is not a nice-to-have, it is equipment. DanceSalsa, bachata, swing: classes come in pairs, and solo sign-ups wait.
And now

All that is missing is someone
to go with you.
